Acknowledgement for the late Dorothy Greene (Lurgan)

Greene, Dorothy.

The family of the late Dorothy Greene R.I.P, Lurgan, wish to acknowledge and thank all those who offered sympathy, helped and supported us during our recent loss. Dorothy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, mother in law, sister, auntie and friend and her loss is felt deeply by all. We are consoled though that she is reunited with her cherished daughter Edel for eternity.

Thank you to all those who kept us in their thoughts and prayers, called to our house, attended her funeral, sent cards and letters, or assisted in any way. Special thanks to her wonderful nieces and nephews for supplying food, help and encouragement during the wake; your love and support have provided us with great comfort at this time of loss.

Special thanks to Father Joseph Wozniak for his attentive support and for the beautiful Mass. Thanks to Sarah Redmond and Brian Greene for the beautiful music which Dorothy had chosen to be played during her Funeral Mass.

Our heartfelt thanks goes to all those who cared for Dorothy including all of the Carers, District Nurses as well as Lurgan and Craigavon Area Hospital teams. We would like to pay special thanks to Dr Deirdre McKenna, William Street Surgery, for the most wonderful care and support – words cannot express how grateful we are to you.

Thank you also to McAlinden and Murtagh Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out all the funeral arrangements and to the gravedigger for preparing Dorothy’s final resting place.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as an expression of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

“There are three things that last: faith, hope and love; and the greatest of these is love”.
1 Corinthians 13:13

Dorothy’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday July 19, at 7.00pm in St Peters Church, Lurgan.
