The family of the late Eugene wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our sad loss.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the wider family circle, friends, neighbours, work colleagues, visiting priests and all those who offered support and prayers and helped in any way.
Thanks to Fr. Martin Kavanagh SMA for celebrating a beautiful Requiem Mass. His friendship, support, kind words and prayers have given us all much comfort. We are also extremely grateful to Fr. Damien, hospital chaplain, for attending to Eugene’s spiritual needs.
Thank you to the musicians who enriched the mass so much and to McAlinden & Murtagh Funeral Directors for their warm, sensitive and professional management of the funeral arrangements.
Sincere thanks to all of the healthcare staff, and in particular the Haematology Team at CAH, who treated Eugene with such respect, compassion and dignity.
Eugene’s months mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday July 8 at 10.30am in St Paul’s Church, Lurgan.
