McElhatton, Kathleen RIP, January 9, 2022. The family of the late Kathleen Mc Elhatton, Daughter Mary, Sons Sean and Peter, Son in law, Daughters in law, Grandchildren, Brother and extended family circle wish to express their deepest gratitude to everyone who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.

Thanks to all who attended the house and sat up at the wake, brought food and floral tributes, telephoned, sent sympathy/mass cards and to all those who attended the Requiem Mass and burial either in person or online and all those who lined the route from the house to the chapel. Thanks to everyone who offered their condolences in any way.

The family wish to thank Geraldine and the staff of Niall A. Loughran, Funeral Directors Cookstown who looked after Mammy so sensitively from her removal from Craigavon Area Hospital, her arrangements and repose in the Funeral parlour, her removal to the family home in Dunamore and final removal for her Requiem Mass and burial. They carried out their duties in a caring, dignified and professional manner.

Sincere thanks to Fr Paddy Hughes P.P for his attendance to Mammy at her home over the years and also for celebrating her Requiem Mass and for his moving and thoughtful homily. The family wish to thank Jackie Fox for her beautiful singing and the organist Eamonn Donnelly at her Requiem Mass.

A very sincere thanks to all Mammy’s kind friends and neighbours who supported, visited and phoned her so frequently in the seven years since Daddy’s death. Also thanks to her carers who attended her in the last few months and to the members of the “Good Morning” Team for her daily check in phone call.

We thank the family and our kind friends and neighbours who assisted in digging the grave and preparing Mammy’s final resting place. Thanks to Ann Mc Kenna for the beautiful floral arrangements for the grave. Thanks also to the Mill Wheel Bar for providing the family with a lovely meal after the funeral.

A special thanks to the doctors and staff of Loy Medical Centre, Cookstown and to the doctors and nurses in Craigavon Area hospital, to the District nurses for their care and to Niall and staff at Falls Pharmacy, Cookstown for their attention to Mammy’s medical needs.
