Acknowledgement for the late Maureen McDermott (Portadown)

The family circle of the late Maureen McDermott of 89 Old Lurgan Road, Portadown would sincerely like to thank everyone who sympathised with them on the recent death of Maureen. A much loved Mother/Mother-in law/Sister/Sister-in law/Aunty/Granny/Great granny and a dear friend.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to all who supported us at this sad time.

Thank you to all who sent cards and attended Maureen’s house during the wake and to those who helped out in the her home in any way with food /refreshments . You were all such good help and we will be forever grateful.

Thank you to all at Annagh Family practice ,doctors ,nurses who attended mum’s home over the years. Mum loved each and everyone of her carers and was so grateful for all their help.

Anne’s Home care and the staff of Lurgan Hospital and Craigavon area Hospital . Thank you.

To all the Marie Curie Nurses who came to mum’s home in the final days of her illness. They were the most caring and friendly ladies anyone could ever meet. Thank you.

To Fr.Brain Fitzpatrick, thank you for all your kindness and for calling at mum’s home and for the most beautiful Mass. For all who took part during the service with readings, reflection and bringing of gifts. Thank you.

Also thank you to the Lylo choir and music by Joanne. Maureen was well known by many of them and requested that they had to part of her service. Thank you.

To Lylo parish for letting us have the school house for refreshments afterwards and to Gilberry Fayre for providing them. Thank you.

Our sincere thanks to Quinn Bros Funeral services for their guidance during this sad time, they were very professional and a great help and support to us all.

To all who contributed to the Marie Curie box in Maureen’s home, many thanks.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude.

Maureen’s month mind Mass will be on Sunday September 15, at 10am in St. John’s Lylo.
