Haughey, Patrick Joseph, RIP Armaghbreague. We, Patrick’s wife Lorraine and family, brothers, sisters, mother in law, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with us following our heartbreaking loss.
We are so grateful to all our relatives, friends and neighbours for their respectful and supportive presence along the route as Patrick’s remains were brought home for prayers before his funeral mass. Thanks also to those who lined the route to the Chapel and to those who attended the funeral mass or stood outside. Thanks also to those who sent mass/sympathy cards, letters, emails or telephoned and to those who sent beautiful floral tributes .
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Fr Greg for his spiritual support and guidance and for the comforting words spoken at the most difficult of times. We also thank him and Fr Malachy for concentrating the funeral mass. To Noel (sacriston) the Ministers of the Eucharist, and to all those who participated at the mass and especially to Fiona Toal whose singing and choice of music enhanced our funeral Liturgy.
A sincere thanks to Dr Lambe, Dr Larkin and the staff at Dundalk St Surgery, Newtownhamilton and to Sean and his staff at Clarkes Pharmacy. We are grateful to all the medical staff at Daisy Hill and Craigavon Area Hospitals who were so kind and took such good care of Patrick during his illness. We express particular thanks to the staff of ICU Craigavon for their dedication and hard work and pray they may be rewarded for their efforts.
Finally to Bridget Mone of Mone Funeral Directors and BJ for the dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. Your unassuming presence, support and attention to detail was very much appreciated. And to the gravedigger who prepared Patrick’s final resting place and to Paul Hughes (videographer) and Brian McClelland (drone) thank you most sincerely.
To all our family, friends and neighbours thank you for your support at the time of Patrick’s passing and for your continued support. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for your intentions.
Patrick’s Month memory mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church Granemore on Friday September 17, at 7:30pm.
“St Patrick Pray for him”.
