General Operatives – Full Time/Permanent (Various shift patterns)
The Role:
We currently require General Operatives to work within our Health Food plant. Our General Operatives play a vital role in ensuring that our products are of exceptional quality. This role involves working in a production area undertaking general duties such as using plant equipment, paperwork and ensuring that the work area is kept clean and tidy.
The Person:
We need candidates who are able to work well as part of a team and possess energy and drive to complete their work to a high standard and are willing to learn new skills to develop themselves.
Essential Criteria:
– Good standard of education.
– Previous experience of working as part of a team.
– Proven ability to work on own initiative
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand health and safety requirements.
Desirable Criteria:
– Previous experience gained in a production role
Casual General Operatives:
The Role
We currently require a pool of Casual General Operatives that may be called upon at short notice to work in various roles that arise within our production areas.
The Hours of Work
Hours of work are flexible to suit both Linwoods and the applicant. The only thing we require is that you are able to work a full shift as half days aren’t practical due to production needs.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential. To be considered you must have:
Reliable timekeeping
Flexibility in your approach to your hours of work
Good attention to detail
The ability to meet production deadlines.
