Emergency services are currently dealing with a road traffic collision on the A1 this afternoon (Thursday).
As a result, both lanes of the southbound carriageway are currently closed between Hillsborough and Dromore.
Two cars have been involved but it remains unclear how many passengers have been affected.
Police say there are long delays for southbound traffic and motorists are asked to seek an alternative route if possible.
There are no further details at this stage.
