Police in Armagh are appealing for information after a report of an assault at the Old Clare Road, Tandragee area last Sunday, September 28.
Constable Acton said: “Shortly before 8:45am, it was reported that a male was assaulted by a group of unknown males. The males are believed to have made off from the scene in the Moodage Road area. The male was not seriously injured during the incident.
“One of the males is believed to have been riding a bicycle and had very short, fair hair. Another of the males is described as wearing a blue hooded top and carrying a large sports bag.
“Enquiries are continuing and police would appeal to anyone with any information to contact police at Armagh Police Station on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference 521280914. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
