Lislooney Badminton Club have presented a cheque to Southern Area Hospice services after a ‘very successful’ 24 hour ‘Badminton-A-Thon’ held just after Christmas from December 28 – 29, 2023.
The event saw over 80 players descend on Lislooney Church hall, Tynan, from across counties Armagh, Tyrone and Monaghan.
Some popped in to enjoy food, chat and make a donation while others very kindly donated online.
Homemade pizza, a full breakfast, ice-cream and other refreshments were thoroughly enjoyed throughout the 24 hour period.
A total of £2800 was raised and Flo McCall, a volunteer for the Southern Area Hospice Services received it on their behalf.
