Two patients were taken to hospital following a serious road traffic collision in Armagh city this afternoon (Wednesday).
An ambulance crew attended to a motorcyclist on the ground.
A rapid response and two police cars were at the scene of the accident, which occurred around 12pm, on the Killylea Road – at the bottom of Mullacreevie hill.
“The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) despatched one Emergency Crew and one Rapid Response Paramedic to the incident.
The Air Ambulance was also despatched to the scene.
A spokesperson for the NIAS said: “The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 12:10 on Wednesday July 17 following reports of an RTC in the St Patricks Park area, Armagh.
“NIAS despatched one Emergency Crew and one Rapid Response Paramedic to the incident.
“The Charity Air Ambulance with HEMS on board was also tasked to attend.
“Following initial assessment and treatment, two patients were taken to Royal Victoria Hospital by Ambulance.”
