Armagh artist opens his new exhibition “Times Gone By”

Armagh born artist Christopher McKinney at his exhibition "Times gone by"

Berlin based Armagh man Christopher McKinney has returned to native city to open an exhibition of recent work entitled “Times gone by”.

The exhibition is a vibrant collection of charcoal and pencil drawings and watercolour paintings featuring street scenes from Armagh, deer in Gosford Park and some beautiful Mourne Mountain landscapes.

Chris, a graduate of Chelsea College of Art and Design, is currently living and working in Berlin where he is preparing for a major exhibition there in the new year.

This follows on from his previous exhibitions throughout Ireland, London, Los Angeles and Vietnam.

Speaking about his “Times gone by” show, Chris said: “I was working on my upcoming exhibition when the opportunity came up of bringing “Time gone by” back to Armagh. I am absolutely delighted to bring the work to Armagh and the countryside, which provided so much inspiration.”
