Armagh City FC U15s to complete 160k dribble fundraising challenge on Mall

An Armagh city youth team is to complete a 160k dribble challenge on The Mall next month in order to raise much-needed funds.

Lord Mayor, councillor Sarah Duffy was delighted to help launch a 160k Dribble event with the members of Armagh FC U15 team as they fundraise for their upcoming trip to the Barcelona Cup.

Their 160K dribble will take place on the Mall, Armagh on Saturday, April 5 and the Lord Mayor was happy to encourage the boys and to make a donation to their efforts.

The Lord Mayor commented: “Best of luck to the boys for their Dribble event and also on their trip to Barcelona later in the year.

“It is fantastic that some of the monies are also going to charity so well done to all involved. Please go along on the day to support or click the Gofundme link for an online donation.”

Coach Liam Clarke added: “We are incredibly grateful to the Lord Mayor for her support and for the generous donation towards our event. Her support means a great deal to us and will go a long way in helping us achieve our goals.

“We are excited about our upcoming event that is taking place on the Mall Armagh, on Saturday, April 5 from 9am. This will involve the team taking part in 160km Dribble relay with proceeds being split between nominated Charity Young Lives Vs Cancer and Barcelona Tournament 2025.”
