An Armagh company picked up the prestigious Family Business CSR Award in Dublin over the weekend.
Fleetwise, based out of Milford, picked up the gong at this year’s Energia Family Business Awards held in Mansion House on Friday, May 24.
General manager of Fleetwise, Kerrie Gass, said the company were “absolutely delighted to be shortlisted, never mind winning the award on the day”.
She added: “I am extremely passionate about our business and likewise for Colum; it is moments like this along with our customer feedback that makes the long hours somehow seem worthwhile.”
Commenting on the awards, Alan Mulcahy Head of Sales at Energia said: “It’s fantastic to celebrate the success of family businesses across the island. The range of business sectors represented in the award submissions shows our economy is diverse and fit for the future.”
The business itself which has been operating since 2014 and with 11 other full time staff making up the Fleetwise family, Kerrie says it is time to celebrate the success and recognition of their efforts to date.
The local business has been known to prioritise CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and fundraising within the community with Mission Christmas and Belfast City Marathon Relay to name a few.
The next fundraising mission will take place on June 9 where 11 staff and friends of the business will take to the sky for a charity 13000ft sky dive.
In a bid to raise much needed funds for Air Ambulance NI, Cancer Care for Children, Action MS & iCare, a JustGiving page has been set up for any of those who are willing to make a donation.
Or don’t be afraid to do things the old fashion way and call in to see any of the Fleetwise team in Milford.
