A Co Armagh girl has won a place in the grand final of the Miss Northern Ireland 2023 contest in May.
Orla O’Halloran, a 22-year-old student from Armagh won her heat at the Hinch Distillery on March 14.
Orla was crowned Miss Hinch Distillery while Abigail Morrison a 19-year-old yoga instructor from Lisbane was selected as Miss Ballynahinch and Ana Bartolovic a 19-year-old care worker from Ballycastle was awarded as Miss Northern Ireland Finalist.
The three girls will now go forward to the grand final in Belfast’s Europa Hotel on 22nd May and stand a chance of winning the coveted title of ‘Miss Northern Ireland 2023’.

Girls from across the country competed for their place at the Miss Northern Ireland final in front of an astute judging panel which included: Managing Director and Event organiser Victoria Withers; Event Coordinator at Hinch Distillery Sacha Donnely; Sarah Adams and Yazmin Lutton of New Life Teeth; Denise McCluskey, owner of Michele International; owner of Sell Your Car to Jax.com, Colin Cunningham; and Compère Miss Northern Ireland Daria Gapska.
Competition organiser, Victoria Withers, said: “We were thrilled to be at Hinch Distillery, it was the perfect venue to continue the search this year and a brilliant night was had by all. Ballynahinch had a strong calibre of girls who entered! Once again it was a fabulous night and a huge congratulations to the winning girls and a big thank you to all who came along!”
