Armagh house ransacked after thieves smash rear patio doors

A house in Armagh was burgled on Saturday after thieves smashed a rear patio door to gain access.

Detectives have appealed for information following the burglary at a house in the Glen Macha area of the city.

Detective Inspector Ryan said: “It was reported at around approximately 11pm, homeowners returned to their property to discover it had been burgled.

“The rear patio doors were smashed, we believe this is how the suspects gained access. At this time, officers are working to confirm what, if anything has been taken from the residence.

“This is thought to have happened sometime between 2pm and 11pm.

“We would appeal to anyone who saw any suspicious activity, or who has information which could assist us, to contact 101 and quote reference number 1525 22/11/25.
