An Armagh solicitors firm will spend the month of March raising funds for the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.
CK Rafferty Solicitors in the heart of Armagh City are offering to write up your will – or have it updated – in return for a discretionary donation towards their charity fundraiser. They will not be taking a legal fee for the service throughout March.
Chris Rafferty, who owns the practice along with wife Kathryn, explained: “Only about three in every 10 people here have made a will.
“For many of us, it’s something we’d rather not think about, but setting our affairs in order now is important.
“Making a will saves a lot of heartache and it allows your loved ones to follow your final wishes.”
He added: “The Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice provides specialist nursing care to babies, children and young people with life-limiting illnesses
“£30 could fund an hour of specialist children’s nursing care; £84 could provide four complementary therapy sessions for an ill child; and £105 could fund three specialist support sessions for bereaved parents.
“My wife and I have two young children ourselves, aged 7 and 4, and we couldn’t imagine what parents go through with terminally ill kids, which is why we chose the charity.
“Please donate as much as possible for this worthy cause.”
