Armagh’s Siobhan delighted at scooping Northern Ireland Make-Up Salon of the Year 2019 title

She had to be talked into going forward for the awards!

Congratulations to Armagh’s own Siobhan Prunty, who has won the Northern Ireland Make-Up Salon of the Year Award for 2019.

Siobhan attended the event with her partner, Mark McSherry, who owns The Barber premises at Lower English Street, and who recently picked up the Highly Commended Award for Barber of the Year at the Northern Ireland Excellence Awards.

Siobhan scooped the top title despite the fact she was not even going to go forward – her persuasive partner Mark gave her the nudge she needed.

Around 400 guests gathered at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belfast to celebrate their achievements on Sunday night.

The black-tie event saw top representatives who work hard within the beauty sector acknowledged for their contributions to making people look and feel beautiful.

The prestigious awards ceremony was organised by Creative Oceanic but voted for by the Northern Ireland public that know exactly who are the best beauty professionals in this country.

The Northern Ireland Hair & Beauty Awards are now in the fifth year and are dedicated to those who work hard to help people find their style, communicate it to the world and provide exceptional treatments.

Charlene Young, Campaign Manager of The Northern Ireland Hair and Beauty Awards 2019, congratulate Siobhan and all the winners.

“The winners are a true reflection of excellence as they represent the industry’s gold standard,” she said. “We would like to thank the public for making these awards one of the most respected events in the industry.”
