Join Evora Hospice (formerly Southern Area Hospice) for a once in a lifetime adrenaline rush: abseil from the iconic Croke Park Stadium all in support of Hospice Care.
On Thursday July 17, 2025, thrill-seekers, charity champions, and brave- hearted supporters will descend from the heights of one of Ireland’s most legendary sporting venues – raising crucial funds for Evora Hospice’s compassionate services across Down, Armagh and Tyrone.
Speaking on behalf of the hospice Aisling Hickey Fundraising Officer said “This is a unique opportunity to support our local hospice while taking part in a once in a lifetime challenge at one of Ireland’s most iconic stadiums.
“As this is the first year, we’ve hosted this event, we’re really excited to see the community come together for Hospice Care. We’re encouraging GAA clubs, supporters, and members of the wider community to get involved.
“Whether you’re facing the heights for fun, for a personal reason, or in memory of a loved one, every step over the edge helps us continue delivering expert, compassionate care to patients and their families.”
Participants can register for just £60 and are asked to raise a minimum of £400 in sponsorship, with every penny going directly towards supporting patients and their families during some of the most challenging times in their lives.
The event is open to those aged 18 and over, and weight restrictions apply for safety.
Whether you're chasing an adrenaline buzz, honouring a loved one, or simply looking to make a difference, this is your chance to step out of your comfort zone and into something truly meaningful.
Spaces are limited so don’t wait!
