
A bus was deliberately set on fire in Armagh on Sunday night.
Police and fire crews were called to the scene of the blaze at Banbrook Hill shortly before midnight.
A fire crew from Armagh attended the scene.
A NI Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate ignition and the incident was dealt with by 12.44am on Monday morning.”
Meanwhile, police have appealed for witnesses. to come forward.
“On Sunday, June 15 shortly before midnight, police and our colleagues from NIFRS attended a report of a vehicle on fire on the Banbrook Hill area of Armagh.
“Police are appealing for any witnesses that may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area around this time to contact us on 101 quoting serial number 4 of 16/06/25.”
