Celebrity Chef Paula McIntyre will create a gourmet feast at a cookery demonstration to raise money for the Cancer Fund for Children.
It will take place in the GLM Hall, Mountnorris tonight, Friday, March 1, at 7.30pm.
During the event – which is being organised by Cancer Fund for Children’s Armagh Support Group – Paula will prepare six delicious dishes and share some of the tips and tricks she has learned over her professional cookery career.
Karen Brown, who heads up Armagh Support Group along with good friend Doris Hamilton, is hoping for good local support for the event.
She said: “As I know from personal experience a cancer diagnosis and treatment can have a devastating impact on the whole family.
“That is why Cancer Fund for Children exists – to provide practical and emotional support so that families don’t have to face cancer along.
“This event is a must for foodies and home cooks alike.
“We hope people will join as Paula shares her cookery skills and experience to help raise vital funds for local children living with cancer.”
Tickets cost £7, include a light supper, and are available from Karen Brown on 077 9316 0619 and Doris Hamilton 075 2317 1412.
