Armagh city will once again be the pulse of the community after the coronavirus pandemic passes.
That’s the verdict of City Centre Management Chair, Art O’Hagan, but insists the retail sector will need the support of the local community.
Mr O’Hagan is the Managing Director of CPS Property, which has its headquarters on Thomas Street – one of the main retail streets in Armagh.
The next couple of weeks will see an easing of restrictions and it will be then when businesses will rely on the support of the public, something Mr O’Hagan has no doubt will happen.
“For now,” he said, “it’s a time when we all should be doing something positive for the many forms of frontline workers and their communities.
“We in CPS are doing our bit at this time by fundraising for the Southern Area Hospice to acquire approved PPE face shields for the various sectors of frontline workers, which include retailers.”
Team CPS, family and friends will be doing 2oookm during May Challenge to support your local community, by walking, jogging or biking.
