A community has been left stunned and deeply saddened by the passing of a man described as “one of Armagh’s truest gentlemen”.
Father-of-one, Caolan Brady, passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday.
A funeral notice for Mr Brady stated he was the beloved son of Sean and Kathleen and loving daddy to Sean Og and brother to Leroy and the late Sean Og.
The Lonsdale League passed on their deepest condolences to the family.
Posting on social media, a spokesperson for the League said: “The family still have an active involvement with the Lonsdale League, sponsoring the Sean og Brady cup in memory of Caolan’s late brother.
“Our thoughts are with the entire Brady family at this time. As a mark of respect all Lonsdale League matches this weekend will have a minute’s silence beforehand.”
Others paid tribute on social media.
One person commented: “It is so heart breaking…you where an absolute gentleman! Rest easy my friend.”
Another added: “Thinking of all the family and community, cannot believe one of Armagh’s truest gentlemen has been taken by the angels.”
One posted: “Too many are being taken too soon, another true gent has left us.”
