Motorists travelling into Armagh from Dungannon can expect two weeks of disruption.
The A29 from Dungannon to Armagh will be closing for just shy of two weeks – weather permitting – in April to allow for a £150k upgrade scheme.
Transport Minister Michelle McIlveen said diversions will be in place from April 4-11 and again from April 18-22.
Minister McIlveen said she hopes all works along the stretch of road will be completed within six weeks.
“The provision of a right turn lane here (Lislay Road junction) will improve road safety,” she said.
A one-way closure from Dungannon to Armagh on the above dates was considered necessary to complete the works safely, but the road will be open between those times.
