Registrar-led weddings and civil partnerships in Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon have been cancelled until further notice.
Both have been identified as “non-essential services” and, as such, have been put off.
ABC Council has said it in the interest of residents and staff a “reduced level” of essential services will operate from Tuesday.
These include refuse collection, recycling centres, registration of births and deaths and burials.
But non-essential services to be suspended until further notice include environmental health, building control, planning services, weddings and civil partnership ceremonies and notices of marriage.
An ABC Council spokesperson said: “Council will endeavour to ensure that normal services will resume as soon as practically possible.”
