Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council are inviting proposals from suppliers to bid for the supply of family entertainment over St Patrick’s weekend.
The Council are inviting proposals for a package of fun fair rides that offer excellent value and create a family friendly event at the following locations:
Solitude Park, Banbridge
Saturday 14, March 2026 – 12pm–10pm
Sunday, 15 March 2026 – 1pm–10pm
Monday, 16 March 2026 – 12pm–8pm
Tuesday, 17 March 2026 – 12pm-8pm
Shambles Yard, Armagh
Saturday, 14 March 2026 – 12pm–10pm
Sunday, 15 March 2026 – 12pm–10pm
Monday, 16 March 2026 – 12pm–8pm
Tuesday, 17 March 2026 – 12pm-8pm
The successful bidder will be required to provide for a safe set up, who will manage and be responsible for the fun fair for the duration of the event. They should also provide a package that has a minimum of four rides including accessible ride/s.
It should also be noted that the Council cannot consider inflatable rides or structures, bungees or trampolines.
Both packages should be set up the day before (March 13) after 5pm when the market closes.
Bids should include a fee for the rental of the venue, and further to this Council added: “Please note that rental income is not our key priority; Council is seeking a package which offers excellent value for money for families.”
Deadline for submission of responses is Friday, January 16, at 12 noon.
