CPS Armagh land ‘Estate Agent of the Year’ gong at Belfast Telegraph awards

The main annual celebration of the property industry in Northern Ireland saw over 500 people gather on Friday for the 2016 Belfast Telegraph awards in association with Property News.

The Ramada hotel at Shaw’s Bridge played host to the glittering event which recognised the past years big successes and stars in the industry.

CPS Property where awarded most prestigious title of the evening “Residential Estate Agent of the Year 2016” in the category of Multi Agency.

“This award has comes at a time when CPS approach their 30th anniversary in business and a poignant time in the property industry as a whole. CPS have strived for excellence since the 2007 / 2008 recession and have grown to be the leading province wide estate agency!

CEO and Founder Art O’Hagan interviewed at the event said: “This is a monumental day for all of our hard working team at CPS. We have gone from strength to strength over the past 30 Years and are delighted to be recognised with such a high accolade. This award is a testament to our branch strength and our work ethic on a daily bases.”

The esteemed judging panel chaired by Professor Alastair Adair, Ulster University’s deputy vice chancellor and Professor of Property Investment along with 7 other property industry experts to include Arlene Elliott of NI Law Society, First Trust Bank’s Derek Wilson, who is also the Chair of Council of Mortgage Lender, Nicola McCrudden of the Chartered Institute of Housing, Daryl McIntosh of National Association of Estate Agents, David Little of the National House Building Council, Ben Collins, Regional Director for Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Joan McCoy of White Ink Architects who is also Vice President of the Royal Society of Ulster Architects.

Professor Adair commented: “The judges were very gratified to receive such a high quality of nominations and we noticed a marked uplift from the previous year in relation to design – the young architects and agents – quality of residential and commercial developments and professional services in all of the categories.
