A fun-filled adrenaline rush.
That’s what’s on offer for thrill-seekers in Armagh this summer – and it’s all for a good cause!
A 160ft charity bungee jump has been planned and all money raised will go to Cancer Research UK.
The event will take place in the grounds of Armagh Rugby Club on Saturday, June 18.
One of the organisers Tracy Nicholl, is urging people to sign up, enjoy the jump and raise money for this fantastic charity.
Tracy’s mum is a member of a small Cancer Research committee in Armagh, who dedicate themselves to raising funds to help others.
So Tracy and her mates want to help out and take it to extremes – and to prove the men wrong!
She told Armagh I: “We’re just a few crazy friends who have always wanted to do something mad for charity – and with husbands who said we couldn’t do it.
“All of us have been affected by cancer in some way and we have decided to donate the money to Cancer Research.”
Tracy is hoping that others will ‘take the plunge’ and come on board to help raise as much money as possible.
“We are hoping for 100 jumpers – if we can find brave enough people to take part!,” she added.
