Emergency services are currently dealing with a road traffic collision in Armagh this evening (Saturday).
There are reports a pedestrian has been struck underneath the flyover at McAnerney’s Supermarket on Irish Street.
Ambulance crews and first responders are on the scene and tending to the injury person at the scene.
Police have cordoned off the road at the slip-road off the Friary Road, and at Greenpark Nursing Home on the Keady Road, close to the junction with the Monaghan Road.
Traffic is at a standstill as a result and the situation is being exacerbated my match-day traffic at the Athletic Grounds.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area as the situation is dealt with.
