A pedestrian, knocked down in Armagh on Saturday evening, avoided serious injury.
The incident happened close to the flyover on Irish Street shortly before 6pm.
Emergency services, along with first responders, rushed to the scene to treat the stricken woman.
She was taken to hospital but did not suffer any serious injuries.
A police spokesperson said: “Police in Armagh received a report of a collision involving a car and a female pedestrian at Irish Street at around 5.40pm on Saturday, January 11.
“The pedestrian was taken to hospital for a check-up following the collision and the street was closed for a short time but has since re-opened.”
