The former First Trust Bank in Armagh has been sold – with a new business lined up to move in.
The building had been up for sale in the region of £150,000 following its shock closure closure by the High Street bank in July last year.
The premises, on the corner of Lower English Street and Abbey Street, have been sitting vacant after its closure early in July.
However, the new business will be Maison Estate Agents, which operates in both Armagh and Dungannon – with its current office on Scotch Street in the city centre.
Parent company Jercia Limited headed up the purchase, which will aim to have a number of businesses under the one roof, including a solicitor and an accountant.
The former First Trust bank was one of 15 branches across Northern Ireland culled by the bank in a shock announcement last February, before its eventual closure in July.
