Get a free ticket to the RUAS Winter Fair this December

The Royal Ulster Winter Fair

With the countdown now on to Christmas it can only mean one thing, it’s nearly time for the annual RUAS Winter Fair which takes place on Thursday, December 12.

This popular event has established itself as a key date in the agricultural calendar for many Northern Ireland farmers due to the great atmosphere and a vast range of stock and exhibits on view.

The Royal Ulster Winter Fair located in the Eikon Exhibition Centre attracts over 4,000 visitors each year where there are over 220 trade stands spread over the two first class exhibition halls.

Throughout the month of November, Fane Valley Stores are giving their customers a free ticket to the RUAS Winter Fair with every 50 Allflex New BVD Tissue Sample Tags purchased.

These highly sought after tickets will give farmers the opportunity to attend the event to see the latest farming developments on offer and to stop by the Fane Valley stand for a chat with their staff and catch-up over some festive refreshments.

Pat Donnelly, Livestock Identification Manager for Fane Valley Stores commented: “The Royal Ulster Winter Fair is an important event in Northern Ireland’s agricultural calendar for Fane Valley and its customers.

“It is not just an opportunity for the dairy sector to showcase the excellent quality of stock they have to offer, but is an occasion when farmers from all sectors can meet with the industry and collaborate on innovation and improvements for their farm business.”

Pat continued: “We are pleased to be able to offer our customers these tickets to the RUAS Winter Fair along with the world-beating Allflex BVD cattle tag. Customers will receive a free ticket to the event for every 50 tags purchased throughout November.”

Allflex are the world leader for Livestock Identification tags with over half a billion animals being identified with an Allflex product each year.

NI cattle farmers have made the Allflex BVD Tissue Sample tag the tag of choice, resulting in it becoming the market leading tag in NI.

Key to this is that the tissue sample needle remains in the tagger after the tag has been applied which greatly reduces the chance of empty samples and minimises the likelihood of samples being lost accidentally.

Tags can be ordered in any of Fane Valley’s sixteen Agri-Retail stores located throughout Northern Ireland including our Armagh, Altamachin, Markethill, Eleven Lane Ends, Portadown and Dungannon stores or alternatively can be ordered and posted direct by calling Fane Valleys Tag Department on 028 9261 0490.
