Officers acting on behalf of HMRC attended a commercial premises in Armagh city centre today where a number of items appear to have been seized.
It is understood that officers were spotted leaving an address on Thomas Street shortly before 11.30am today (Tuesday).
An eye-witness reported seeing what they believed to be bags of cigarettes being removed from the property.
Armagh I contacted HMRC for clarification and a spokesperson replied only to confirm that officers were working in the Armagh area today.
No further details have been released at this time.
