Staff from Home Bargains in Armagh will be getting on their in-store bikes on Saturday, October 23 to raise money for the company’s nominated charity, Autism NI.
A Spinathon will be held in the foyer that day from 9am to 9pm, and customers are being urged to support it.
A team from the store are also joining colleagues from across Northern Ireland in an abseil down Belfast Castle on Thursday, November 4, with the aim of raising awareness and funds for the charity.
The Armagh store also holds a silent, autism-friendly hour every Saturday morning from 9am -10am where no music is played, making the shop a more welcoming environment.
A spokesperson said: “We are currently collecting donations in store for Autism NI with our charity collection buckets at the tills.
“We have received great contribution from our wonderful customers who have being supporting us throughout this exciting journey.”
