I spy with my little eye… a brand new brew bar for Armagh!

One viewer commented underneath the company's teaser saying, "I saw this on Armagh I. I'm guessing Armagh!"

Yesterday (August 12) Armagh I published a teaser photo of a special ‘spy hole’ in the window of an Upper English Street shop front to see if readers were able to guess what might be coming in the next few weeks.

The premises – which was previously occupied by Elsie’s Bistro – has recently had its windows blacked out with a striking blue vinyl as works commence inside.

There was one little hole left open with the enticing caption above reading, “you know you want to” for passers-by to have a little nosey duke inside!

Readers left a myriad of answers with some guessing Tesco, Primark, Four Star Pizza and various other potential shops. But no one guessed right.

In office we had a fair idea what might be making its way to Armagh’s high street… but we reached out for confirmation to be sure.

Today (August 13) the company we expected to move in have confirmed the space is theirs.

They cheekily replied to our request with, “Check our Instagram and you might get your answer!”

Newry’s Measured Brew Bar situated on John Mitchell Place posted a video reel on their Instagram showing the exact window we pictured with the caption, “You know you want to have a peek, but from where?

“Measured 2.0.”

One viewer commented underneath saying, “I saw this on Armagh I. I’m guessing Armagh!”

Famed for their healthy acai bowls, overnight oats, protein balls and barista-style coffees, Measured has become a popular hot-spot for hungry patrons in Newry and now it’s looks like Armachians are set to the new beneficiaries of their wares!

Who guessed it?
