Armagh secured an opening victory on Sunday (May 26) in round 1 of the All-Ireland Group Series with a five-point win over Westmeath.
After losing Conor O’Neill to a suspected Achilles injury in the first half, Kieran McGeeney’s side battled on at Armagh’s Athletic Grounds to leave the score 0-16 to 0-11.
