The release of A-Level results on Thursday (August 13) brought news of further success for the students at St. Patrick’s Grammar School, Armagh.

Speaking after the publication of A Level results yesterday, school Principal, Mr. Declan Murray, congratulated the boys, their parents and the staff in the role they all played in these outstanding results.

He said, “Today was a very special day for our school community. We are absolutely delighted with this remarkable group of young men, who created such a positive and memorable atmosphere throughout our corridors.

“We are especially proud that the percentage of pupils achieving three grades at A* – C increased by a remarkable 25% since last year.

“On top of this the percentage of pupils achieving the top A* – B grades has also increased by a fantastic 11%. This represents a huge leap forward for our school, and yet we know we are capable of even better in the future.

“This success would not have been possible without the exceptional dedication of our staff, who continually go above and beyond for our pupils. We are also deeply grateful to our parents, whose support and encouragement have helped promote the attitudes and attributes needed for success.

“Finally, we extend our sincere appreciation to the wider St Patrick’s community. As always, your support is greatly valued.

“Maith sibh a bhuachaillí.”
