Despite the rain, thousands turned out for the annual St Patrick’s Day Parade in Armagh today.
Those that did brave the conditions were treated to another spectacular show as bands and floats made their way from the Palace Demesne to the Cathedral Road, weaving through the city’s streets.
The parade was overlooked by St Patrick’s Church of Ireland Cathedral as it went down Market Street before ending it’s journey under the gaze of the Roman Catholic Cathedral – a fitting journey in the Saint’s spiritual home.
