Southern Regional College Level 3 second year Business students from Armagh Campus have raised almost £500 for local charities Diabetes NI and The Children’s Hospice NI.
The students raised this for the charities by organising a fun quiz for students on the Armagh Campus and held a big cross campus raffle for Belsonic tickets. This proved to be a great choice of prize as tickets sold like hot cakes!
The students organised this fundraising as part of the ‘Managing an Event’ unit for the Level 3 Business course.
It enabled the students to achieve high results as well as raising this huge sum of money and have an enjoyable and challenging learning experience.
