The annual Livingstone Tractor Run raised a staggering £146,271.00 for three fantastic charities.
The annual event – held on the last Saturday of each year – has been a roaring success every year but 2019’s total has smashed previous totals.
The cheques were presented to the three charities – NI Air Ambulance; The Southern Area Hospice; and The NI Children’s Hospice – at Armagh Business Park. Each charity receiving almost £50,000 each.
Lord Mayor, Mealla Campbell, who was a special guest at the event, said: “Full credit to the Livingstone family and the organising committee for the mammoth effort they put in every year to hold this event!
“Also a big thank you to all the sponsors and donors who helped raise this amazing amount for these charities who very much depend on all the fundraising efforts.
“Thank you to the Livingstone family once again! I’m delighted as Lord Mayor to have had the opportunity to support the event!
“Looking forward to the 2020 run with great anticipation that there will a record achieved with more than 800 tractors taking to the roads of Armagh.”
