A man is to appear in court after three officers were assaulted in Armagh on Monday.
The 36-year-old man has been charged with a number of offences including three counts of assault on police.
He is due to appear before Newry Magistrates’ Court this morning, Tuesday.
The charges come after two officers were bitten, one on the wrist and one on the leg, while responding to a domestic related report in the Armagh area yesterday, Monday, September.
They received minor injuries. A third officer was also pushed.
As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
