A man has been arrested following a online ‘decoy’ sting carried out in Armagh.
Police have confirmed that a 56-year-old, originally from Lurgan, was arrested in the Armagh area on Sunday, December 28 on suspicion of attempted sexual communication with a child.
It follows a ‘sting’ operation by the online group Justice Reborn on Sunday evening, December 28.
A 19-minute video was uploaded on social media.
“He remains in custody at this time,” said a police spokesperson.
It is understood the man is currently on bail for a similar alleged offence earlier this year.
