A man was taken to hospital following a one vehicle road traffic collision on the Cathedral Road in Armagh on Monday evening.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Sergeant Lyons said: “The Cathedral Road was closed for several of hours while officers investigated the scene at approximately 8pm.
“A 62-year-old male pedestrian was taken to hospital.
“We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who was in the area around the time of the collision who may have dashcam footage, or who recalls seeing the vehicle prior to the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.
“Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact police at Armagh on 101 quoting reference 1979 25/10/2021.”
