Man accused of using fake tenner bailed and banned from entering Armagh supermarket

He is charged with tendering counterfeit currency

An Armagh man accused of using a counterfeit tenner has been told not to enter a local store.

Eoghan Joseph Donnellan, 21, of Linenhall Street, appeared charge with tendering counterfeit currency at the city’s Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.

A police constable said they believed they could connect defendant to the charge.

The charge related to a fake Ulster Bank £10 note.

Prosecution asked that the case was adjourned until March 5 when a decision will be taken.

Donnellan was released on his own bail of £100, with the condition that he was not to enter Emerson’s Supermarket in Armagh.
