Man arrested after crashing into tree on Keady Road

A man who crashed into a tree outside Armagh on Saturday night has been arrested.

Police received a report of a silver Volkswagen Golf being driven erratically in the Moy Road area of Armagh just before 11.55pm on Saturday, November 18.

On attendance in the area, the vehicle was located on Keady Road having left the road and collided with a tree.

A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences including dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drink or drugs.

He remains in custody at this time.

An investigation is underway. Anyone who witnessed the vehicle in the area, or who may have relevant dash-cam footage, is asked to call police on 101, quoting reference number 1871 of 19/11/22.
