A man accused of a litany of Class A and B drugs offences will face Crown Court proceedings next month.
The 27-year-old is alleged to have been involved in the supply of both cannabis and cocaine with some charges dating back to 2017.
Jonathan Michael Simpson, of University Street in Belfast, appeared charged with two counts of possession of Class B, possession of Class A, five counts of offering to supply Class B and offering to supply Class A at Armagh Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
It was heard that the alleged offences are dated between December 7, 2017, and December 10, 2018.
The Class B offences are in reference to cannabis and dihydrocodeine, with the Class A drug in question being cocaine.
Standing in the dock, the defendant made no objection to the holding a preliminary enquiry.
Prosecution submitted that based on the papers before the court it was believed there was a prima facie case to answer.
Defence counsel made no contrary submissions to this.
The defendant was subsequently released on his own bail of £500 to appear before Newry Crown Court on November 14 for arraignment.
