A man was taken to hospital following a serious assault in Armagh over the weekend.
Police received a report of an ongoing altercation in the Drumarg Park area of Armagh just after 7.55pm on Saturday, July 26.
On arrival, officers found a man aged in his 50s had sustained a head injury.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 67-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon with intent.
He was later released on bail to allow for further enquiries.
