A man is to appear in court charged with dangerous driving following a public appeal earlier this week.
Police issued a call for information after two cars were spotted driving dangerously on the Portadown Road out of Armagh, near the Fruitfield filling station on Monday night.
Police were able to identify one of the drivers with the public’s help but are still actively working on finding out who the second driver is.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Thank you to everyone who responded. Due to the information received from members of the public we have been able to charge one male to court for dangerous driving.
“We are still attempting to confirm the identify of one of the drivers so please if you witnessed this incident contact police on 101 quoting serial 1232 of 08/01/18.
“Sadly, in 2017 63 people died on the roads in Northern Ireland.
“We need your help to identify dangerous drivers to make the roads safer for everyone and to try to prevent road traffic collisions.”
The incident happened around 8.30pm.
