A man, arrested in Wales over the weekend, will appear in court in Lisburn this morning (Monday).
The 62-year-old was arrested by PSNI officers and has subsequently been charged with fraud by false representation.
These fraudulent offences were allegedly committed against a woman in her 60s in County Armagh, in which a significant amount of money was taken from her account.
It is further alleged she was advised of an investment scheme, which did not materialise but the money the woman had transferred in good faith was never returned.
As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the PPS.
