A major search operation for a missing woman last seen in Moy is currently underway around the River Blackwater this morning (Wednesday).
Lough Neagh Rescue have been despatched to the river in the Charlemont area following concerns for the welfare of missing person, Claire Rock.
Claire, aged 46, was last seen at around 2pm on Tuesday, August 22 in the Square area of Moy.
She is described as being small in height, wearing a hat and carrying a rucksack.
Police are asking homeowners in the Moy area to please check gardens, outbuildings and vehicles.
If you know of Claire’s whereabouts, or have any information, or if you perhaps gave her a lift, please contact police as soon as possible quoting reference number 1176 of 22/08/23.
A helicopter crew – Rescue 118 from Strandhill coastguard station in Sligo – is also helping with the search around the river.
