The adverse weather conditions is causing chaos for commuters in Armagh and Portadown this morning (Tuesday).
There are reports of traffic queues stretching as far out of Portadown as Shelbourne Motors on the Mahon Road as you approach from Tandragee.
The main Armagh to Portadown Road is currently at a standstill because of the conditions.
There are reports of difficult driving conditions on the main A1 between Banbridge and Newry.
Motorists are being advised to exercise extreme caution this morning and allow extra time for your journeys throughout the day.
The Met Office have a weather warning for snow and ice right through until Wednesday night, so conditions are expected to get worse.
There is heavy snow predicted around lunchtime; then again late into the evening and the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile in Armagh, The Mall East will be closed to all traffic today from 6am-6pm for essential maintenance and repair works.
These works are very much needed and whilst there will be disruption for the duration of the works, please follow the diversion signs in place.
These works are essential in advance of the International Road Race on Thursday night.
